Corporate Tax Accountant
Join YouGov’s finance team in a newly created role as Corporate Tax Accountant. With operations in the UK, North America, Mainland Europe, the Nordics, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, you’ll face the challenge of coordinating and managing all aspects of local income tax compliance across our global footprint - drawing upon your extensive experience of multinational tax and accounts.

Roles and responsibilities
In addition to coordinating and managing key tax compliance activities, you will also deal with tax audit requests and provide support and advice to our business as changes arise (e.g. new products, new markets).
A skilled communicator, you will effectively manage relationships with local Finance contacts and local tax advisors, ensuring local income tax returns are properly prepared, filed and documented.
You will also prepare complex general ledger tax account reconciliations considering tax accruals, tax prepayments, and tax assessments, income and withholding tax accounts and outside professional fee accounts. You will also oversee the transfer pricing documentation, proposing appropriate transfer pricing policies, as well as supporting the half yearly external reporting process.

What we’re looking for
You’ll be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent) with extensive experience in tax and accounting, combined with experience dealing with multinational tax issues. In addition, you will have broader finance and accounting skills outside of taxation.
You will need to be a proactive self-starter, with the ability to be flexible in a high growth environment, while remaining reliable and professional at all times. You will be comfortable working to deadlines, and able to problem solve under pressure. Naturally, you’ll have great attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
