Tax Manager Europe --- Multinational company --- Neuilly sur Seine, France

Our client is a large US multinational company which has grown rapidly in recent years. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business at an exciting time and to focus on international tax planning and project management.

Reporting to the VP Tax, the Tax Manager Europe will manage the tax affairs of all business units in Europe. Key responsibilities involve strategic tax projects, M&A, tax planning, restructuring, tax audits and providing tax advice to the business. The role also includes managing US GAAP tax reporting.

This is a great opportunity to take on a strategic & highly visible Tax position within a successful, fast-growing international company.

To fulfil the requirements, you will need a minimum of 7 years’ European tax advisory & planning experience with exposure to US multinationals. Solid US GAAP tax reporting experience is required for the role; practical experience of IFRS would be an advantage. Excellent communication skills in English are essential and fluency in French or other EU languages would be a plus. You need to have proven experience of quickly settling into working in a large, complex MNC environment and working with many different stakeholders.
