Our client, one of the global professional advisory firms, is looking for an experienced corporate tax professional to move to one of their offices in the Channel Islands.
The island life is appealing, particularly now we are increasingly working remotely and wanting to move away from larger conurbations. This role offers an enticing mix of challenging, interesting UK and international corporate tax advisory work within a supportive, well recognised team in a location with beaches on your doorstep and an outdoors lifestyle.
Your clients will be both UK and international and you will be advising on a broad range of corporate tax issues and dealing closely with the clients. Moreover, you will be reporting to the Directors and Partners within the team but there is a collaborative approach to the work to help you learn the ropes and develop in your role as one of the team's trusted tax advisers.
Ideally you will currently be working in a professional services organisation as a corporate tax assistant manager or manager and be looking for more responsibility. Any experience of real estate tax would be a particular advantage but it is not a prerequisite. Candidates should have the CTA or ACA and post qualified experience within a partly or wholly corporate tax role and any experience of managing more junior staff would be an advantage.
