Our client is a world leading Consulting and Advisory firm. One area of growing interest for them is advising clients on the effectiveness and tax efficiency of their operating models across Asia.
The team is currently based across the region and they are seeking to add Tax professionals to their Malaysian team. The job will require some travel in the region but the base is Kuala Lumpur.
The team focuses on the way a business organises itself across all processes and functions and countries and how all these interact, the goal being to achieve an operating model that ensures the best after tax results. You will be interested in supply chains, technology, company strategy, problem solving and understanding how changes in these have an impact on tax risk and results. Devising and delivering solutions which are both practical and also commercial is key in this role. Tax compliance is a legal requirement but arranging the affairs of a company effectively can lead to commercial and strategic improvements, too.
