Mixed Tax Senior Manager or Director - Central Manchester
Clark Wood have been instructed on an exceptionally rare opportunity, which offers the chance for an experienced Tax Senior Manager/ Director to join one of the North West's most highly regarding tax teams based in Central Manchester.
The main purpose of the role would be to lead and develop the firm's North West, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire tax consultancy offering whilst maintaining a significant existing client portfolio. The type of work undertaken by the Team includes predominantly OMB (Owner Managed Business) client work, so Corporate Tax & some Private Client work, HNWIs.
The scope of the role is an interesting blend of advisory support on UK tax issues; corporate transactions, M&A, property transactions, reconstructions & demergers, share schemes and EIS/SEIS, R&D tax credits, patent box claims, succession and exit planning.
Private Client Tax work includes efficient share structures, dividend planning, shareholder tax planning, estate planning, trusts, IHT, CGT, non-dom work etc.
Business Development and Networking: develop client services and grow tax portfolio; Increase awareness & exposure of the firm's tax services.
Manchester is a fantastic location for commuters from all over the North West, Central Manchester, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, Bolton, Oldham, Salford, Stockport, Altrincham etc.
CTA/ ACA Qualified
Relevant experience of IHT and CGT planning, advising on residence and domicile
Proven track record of Business Development
Experience within a Senior Manager/ Director level role
