My client is a Practice which is growing year on year and is one of the most respected employers in the local community. They have an excellent public profile and are therefore looking to expand their team to assist in the delivery of the high standard of work they are renowned for.

Your new role
You will be hands on with the day to day work of the Practice, not only completing work at a high level, but also ensuring that work is completed within deadlines and to an appropriate standard. You will review work, prepare accounts and manage a portfolio of clients consisting of sole traders, partnerships and Limited Companies across a variety of sectors. This is a mixed role so there will be both personal and corporate tax compliance work as well as VAT and PAYE duties. Experience in these areas and trust accounting would be advantageous. Due to my client's expansive client list, the work will be varied and will provide sufficient scope across many business sectors and lines of Practice accountancy.

What you'll need to succeed
This role would suit a part or fully qualified ACA or ACCA accountant who is looking for either a full time or part time role. My client is a very flexible and an amenable employer. You will be self motivated with good communication skills, both written and verbal. Exposure to IRIS, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks would be of benefit.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary based on your experience. If you are part qualified and a current studier, a suitable study package can be negotiated. There is an open plan office, hours are 8.30 until 5.30pm except for Friday where you can finish at 3pm! Part time hours are also available, with a minimum of 3 days a week.
