VAT Manager, Surrey, to £100k + 9 day fortnight

A brand new opportunity for a VAT Manager to join this established multinational group to look after international indirect tax has been created. This is an autonomous role where aside from ensuring compliance obligations are met, you will have ownership over global indirect tax and drive projects such as MTD, a strategy around new VAT regimes in the Middle East, advising the business on VAT treatment in various jurisdictions as well as the commercial implications and working with the appointment third party on overseas VAT Recovery. This is a high profile role where you will need to be able to demonstrate commerciality and an understanding of working in multinational environment.

You are likely to be operating at experienced Manager or Senior Manager level and have experience of working in the Big 4 and/or in-house that operates in multiple jurisdictions. The client has the additional benefit of operating a 9 day fortnight where you have every other Friday off.
