Part Time Group Tax Manager, Northamptonshire (remote working an option)

This leading FTSE Group has an opportunity on a 3 day a week part time basis for a Group Tax Manager, working for a specialist division of the group you will report into the CFO and ensure the business remains compliant with all tax legislation and ensures tax is partnered within the business in all commercial decision making. The role will offer flexible home working if required.

The role:

Manage the annual corporation tax returns process for submission to HMRC for all active subsidiaries

Assist in the provision of information to outsourced provider to enable them to prepare annual corporate tax returns and to review the prior to submission

Prepare tax figures for year end tax accounts and forecasting.

Review all changes to corporate tax legislation and considering impact on the group and change in process and controls to manage any additional tax risks arising.

In addition this role will manage the VAT including both Preparation and/or review quarterly VAT returns and review all changes to VAT tax legislation and consider impact on the group.

Employment tax related queries from HR and Payroll will also be incorporated into this role.

About you:

ACA and/or CTA Qualified

Minimum of 5 years UK Tax experience

Extensive experience in both the preparation and review of Corporate Tax compliance and tax accounting packs

VAT experience is preferred but not essential
