Manager/ Senior Manager (Corporate Tax)

A career-building opportunity for a Corporate Tax Manager has recently opened up in Manchester.

Our client is world-renowned for their expert Tax efficient solutions to both personal and corporate clients across diverse industries. Their office in Manchester has a particularly large Owner Managed Business (Private) portfolio of clients and needs an experienced Corporate Tax professional to develop their services. As a qualified (CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified or similar, i.e. Tax Inspector) corporate tax specialist you will manage the delivery of tax services while expanding the firms' client portfolio.

This position will be a direct support to the senior team performing duties such as:

* Supervising advisory and compliance work undertaken by the junior team,
* Providing relevant corporate and deferred tax disclosure for inclusion in statutory accounts,
* Planning structure in corporate tax areas such as group tax, property, capital gains/allowances,s455, Transfer Pricing, R&D tax credits.

A solid UK corporate tax compliance background is necessary to successfully execute these duties. Additionally, you will have experience in proactively managing a team addressing a wide range of corporate tax planning issues such as company restructuring , the review of corporate tax returns and all aspects of general advisory.
