The EGC team is a marketing leading global practice with over 2,500 corporate secretarial professionals in over 160 countries. The team specialises in helping clients enhance the governance and compliance of their legal entities and Boards; providing governance, transaction and
compliance support to a broad range of clients (including the FTSE 350 and Fortune 500).

The team are also at the forefront of the UK Corporate Governance Reforms providing market leading Thought Leadership in the industry. The UK team consists of 40 members across London, Birmingham and Manchester in addition to a support function of 16 team members situated in
Poland.

This role requires a hard-working and forward-thinking individual with experience of managing and developing teams.

The successful candidate will:Manage a team delivering governance and transaction projects (including UK and global entity simplification mandates, design and implementation of corporate governance frameworks, provision of director training etc.)
Review deliverables and ensure projects are achieved in line with agreed budgets
Manage client relationships as well as a portfolio of clients
Be responsible for building relationships with teams across PwC
Be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of clients across the London and South East region and building client relationships from this portfolio
Report into the Senior Manager based in London


There will also be opportunities to support new business development opportunities, and develop a range of skills across PwC’s career progression and personal development framework.

The following skills are required for this role:

Essential skills:Previous Company Secretarial knowledge and experience
Experience in managing a team
Ability to develop relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Strong team working, project management and IT skills.
Good communication skills (verbal and written) and numeric, analytical and finance skills.
Composed under pressure, proactive, self-motivated, take ownership/responsibility for own work and can work under own initiative efficiently.
Excellent time management and personal organisational skills.
Good business and risk awareness skills and the ability to act/think strategically, logically and commercially.
Passionate about client service - strong willingness to deliver excellent client service, add value and to flexibly meet client requirements, sometimes at very short notice.


Desirable skills:
Good working knowledge of leading legal entity management databases (e.g. Blueprint OneWorld, GEMS etc.)
