Brewer Morris is pleased to be working with Sopher + Co, a large independent firm in North London currently looking to hire a Tax Assistant Manager into their practice in Borehamwood. Sopher + Co are known for being a market leading practice, with portfolio spanning over 20 industries and multinational clientele so this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with blue chip clients as well as gaining exposure to international tax. As part of this role, you will support the Corporate Tax Manager in completing the firm's tax compliance needs and support on various advisory projects. This ambitious Assistant Manager will supervise and review full tax compliance services undertaken by the Audit and Accounts department, complete a few complex corporate tax returns and ensure deadlines are met with external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a high degree of leadership and relationship management skills for this client-facing role.
Ideally you will have:
- A professional Qualification
- Experience using CCH and CaseWare
- Experience working within UK corporate tax compliance
