Private Client Senior Manager – Outstanding Quality of Work

This hugely successful, yet relatively low key private client practice, is looking to add an additional leader for the future to their team.

The client base is broad and complex in nature, thus challenging its tax practitioners to work at the highest level of their skillset. Clients include both UK resident and non-domiciled UHNWIs and business owners with all manner of UK and offshore tax structures. You will therefore need to be technically strong and not fazed easily.

Ideally you will have a broad range of private client tax experience, to include planning work, possibly with a specialism that you have a deeper interest in. The Partners would be happy to support your continued development in this specialism, should you wish.

You will be responsible for managing your own client portfolio and the team members working for you to ensure consistently high quality delivery of work and the exceptional client service that the clients have come to expect. You will also get involved in project work as it arises within the team, with the full support of the Partners, where necessary.

As one of the more senior members of the team, it is anticipated that you will be actively pursuing new avenues of work, both from existing clients and prospects. You will have a high profile, actively strengthening relationships with clients and developing new opportunities. You will also be regarded as a technical resource, drafting detailed technical reports to accompany your advice to clients, and acting as a technical sounding board for the team.

Your role may also include assisting with the management of the private client team more generally, along with acting as an appraiser and coach to more junior staff to develop their advisory expertise.

This role will suit someone who is effortlessly commercial and proactive in their approach, able to work independently or form part of a cohesive team. Excellent communication and client relationship skills are key; you should be able to convey complex tax issues to them in a way they understand and that engenders trust and long lasting relationships.
