Your new company
You will be working for a multi-national conglomerate with operations in over 50 countries, employing around 300,000 employees worldwide. The groups operations consist of five core businesses including telecommunications.

Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Tax as part of the UK based European Tax team of 7 people, you will have oversight of the groups tax interests in the UK but also across Europe. You will support, prepare and submit centralised tax reporting, on behalf of the wider group, in respect to UK group relief, tax losses and interest deductions; and will ensure tax reporting and compliance filing obligations are met. Your role will also have a focus on producing an impact assessment of, whilst maintaining compliance with, various UK legislative changes connected to OECD "BEPS" project, BREXIT, and other matters.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA or CTA qualified with solid experience interpreting and clearly articulating complex tax matters.You will have an ability to manage compliance within the context of a large group and will have extensive knowledge of UK tax legislation, rules and related compliance; and tax reporting requirements. You will have excellent Microsoft Excel skills and a willingness to take on any further tax responsibilities.
