One of the world's leading Accountancy Firm is looking for an Indirect Tax Senior Associate for their Birmingham Indirect Tax consulting team. Providing indirect tax services to clients across the Midlands you would be working with some of the most successful organisations on the globe, as well as its most dynamic entrepreneurs and thriving private businesses.

Your new role
As the Indirect Tax Senior Associate, you would be developing your indirect tax experience within an established team, working alongside senior and junior members. You would be responsible for managing and delivering work on client's projects across various areas of VAT and other indirect taxes, working proactively with your portfolio of clients. Dealing with VAT liability queries, UK and non-UK, resolving HMRC disputes, involvement in claims and litigation projects, supporting clients with indirect tax processes and controls and supporting client's understanding of changes in law.

Key Duties:

* Researching technical VAT questions and issues.
* Proactively driving work and opportunities on clients forward.
* Considering the impact of law and case law changes on client portfolio.
* Communicating with clients to support them on VAT queries, issues and in their interaction with HMRC.
* Keeping up to date with VAT legislation and practical changes.
* Ensuring high quality service delivery to our clients.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful Indirect Tax Senior Associate should have VAT experience, along with strong communication skills to liaise with external and internal clients.
