Financial Reporting Accountant, Edinburgh, to £400 per day

A leading asset management company are seeking a temporary reporting accountant paying up to £400 per day

Your new company
A leader within their field, this global asset management company have a temporary need for a maternity cover for a period of up to 12 months. This organisation are a premier provider of a range of services such as investment management, risk management and advisory services.

Your new role
This job for a Financial Reporting Accountant is responsible for ensuring that revenue and any related expense, is recorded properly in accordance with GAAP. In addition you will review balance sheet reconciliations at month end and analyse monthly revenue accruals and associated variances. You will also review and maintain key SOX controls.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be professionally qualified (ACCA, ACA, CA, ACMA) with a strong asset management background. You will have experience in working in a similar role and posses strong leadership skills as well as a proven track record of managing teams to success.
