An international grouping of professional firms, specialising in financial and taxation advice, are offering a qualified and experienced Corporate Tax Specialist the opportunity to join them in their London City Office. The firm is one of the largest accountancy firms nationally, the 15 Partner led UK partnership boasts a unique portfolio of quality clients which offer challenging and high quality work.

Your new role


Joining the team as a Corporate Tax manager you will be taking a leading role in the team, having some say over its direction, alongside this you will be managing a portfolio of 120-150 business clients including partnerships. You will be responsible for reviewing a wide variety of corporate and partnership tax returns linked with your own client allocation whilst considering whether any tax planning opportunities arise.

As a manager you will be responsible for supporting and developing the teams more junior staff, sharing your expertise through team work and managing their work streams. You will also be given the opportunity to build and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and utilising your technical knowledge in the research for, and writing of, technical reports.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA and CTA qualified with a few years post qualification experience in a reputable accountancy firm. Broad experience across different aspects of taxation of companies and businesses is highly desirable, as is familiarity with tax issues affecting the individuals who own them, including remuneration planning, employment related securities, Entrepreneurs' Relief, EIS etc. As always solid communication skills are essential.
