Tax Manager - Practice - Southampton East

Experience mixed tax specialist ATT CTA, newly created role, Southampton East, to £35,000

A small friendly accountancy firm in Hamble are looking to strengthen their team with the addition of an experienced tax accountant.

You will be working with a wide range of clients ranging from startups to larger companies, industries cover many sectors including Marine, Professional services, Retail, Construction, Property rental and development, Transport, Information Technology, Design and Marketing and Service businesses. A "hands on" approach is essential as you will be a pivotal part of a small team and as this is a newly-created role due to expansion, the job can be tailored to your skills and can include a wide range of mixed work if required.

You will need to have substantial experience of working as a tax specialist within accountancy practice using computerised systems and will ideally hold the ATT and/or CTA qualification. You will need to have good client handling skills and if you have exposure to VT Accounts, Xero and Quickbooks it would be an advantage but is not essential.

A competitive salary is on offer, depending on experience and qualifications, and flexibility on hours if required. A full-time person would be preferred but they could consider someone looking for 3 days per week upwards.
