Are you interested in joining one of the fastest-growing expat tax teams in the Big 4?
Owing to an ongoing period of growth and success, we're currently looking for a talented Assistant Manager for the Global Mobility tax team of a Big 4 firm in their Bristol office, working on a varied portfolio of large and mid-market clients across all sectors, including manufacturing, aerospace & defence, and the public sector. The firm owes many of its recent client wins to its willingness to invest in and embrace new technology, and those looking to work in a more tech-forward and innovative Global Mobility environment will not be disappointed here.
As the team continues to grow, you'll play an active part in the development of the team as you advance your career, with the chance to get involved in a broad range of client advisory work and business development activities from the get-go. Technical tax work in the Bristol team has a focus on high-level advisory projects, with all tax return preparation undertaken in a UK Centre of Excellence, and the successful candidate will be able to assume early responsibility of these engagements
Progression opportunities are near-unbeatable, with a clear path to Manager, Senior Manager and beyond. We are also able to consider candidates working at the Senior or Semi-Senior level looking to move up into the role.
On the perks side, you'll benefit from a competitive salary and a market-leading benefits package, including private medical care and health insurance, Enhanced Pay up to 18 weeks for new parents, free lunches and your birthday off - plus a whole host of flexible benefits including the ability to buy up to 10 days of additional holiday (in addition to 25 days leave plus bank/public holidays and your birthday), season ticket loans, and childcare vouchers, among other things. Those looking to undertake further professional qualifications where appropriate such as the CTA or ACA will be able to obtain full sponsorship plus study leave. And, of course, what benefits package would be complete without a recent history of consistent bonus payouts between 5-15% of salary?
Flexible working is not only a benefit but the norm here, with agile starts and finishes as the standard, plus office-wide early finishes on Fridays in the Summer. Above all else, this is a firm renowned for its culture; if working in a supportive environment with a dynamic Partner/Director group that will encourage and empower you sounds like a good idea, then this could be for you.
All we need from you is:
● An ATT qualification or equivalent (or greater, e.g. CTA / ACA / ACCA)
● At least 3 years of experience working in UK expatriate tax, including experience with immigration and social security
● Experience managing global assignee populations
Please note we cannot consider applicants without UK tax experience.
