A career in our Structured Products and Real Estate practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.

Our team helps our clients manage regulatory requirements and organisational restructuring needs in the derivatives, loans and mortgage space. You'll be assisting the team with tasks related to model governance and validation, accounting advisory, end to end transaction support, valuation services, business processes and controls, and tax and treasury services.

About the role

The focus of our team is our clients, ensuring that we provide innovative ideas and high levels of service.

As a Senior Associate within the team you will work on a portfolio of clients, covering a broad range of tax issues, including group structuring, financing, real estate, and overseas taxes. You will work closely with our tax compliance teams to ensure delivery of computations to our clients. You will also work closely with other areas of the local tax practice, such as VAT, Stamp taxes, Capital Allowances and Transaction Structuring.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking to recruit high calibre, ambitious people accustomed to working as part of a team and who are comfortable dealing with new or unfamiliar technical challenges. Individuals must be interested in relationship development as extensive client contact should be expected.

Essential skills and experience

UK accountancy or tax qualification (ACA, ACCA and/or CTA) or comparable overseas equivalent.
Strong academic backgroundAbility to identify critical & relevant data sources
Proven numerical, analytical and strategic thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
