Clients are very wide ranging across charity and not for profit clients, commercial enterprises across varied industry sectors, wide ranging in turnover size and complexity, along with high net worth individuals and international VAT work.

Description

You will join the Canterbury or Maidstone team, working across the VAT advisory group in this firm, as a VAT Manager. You will work with Partners, Director and the Senior Advisory Group with the opportunity to work across a wide range of clients and individuals, companies, landed estates, charities and not for profit organisations, advising on many different aspects of VAT compliance, transaction and liability matters. You will develop ongoing client relationships, through regular meetings and delivering advice and solutions, along with acting as a 'go to' expert for the internal team, supporting the business with VAT queries and advice. There will be a clear, structured route for you to develop in your career and progress.

Profile

You will be ATT/ ACCA or CTA qualified and bring a strong technical background and experience of VAT issues having developed your career to Assistant Manager/ Manager, or similar level. Any experience of land and property transactions and partial exemption would be advantageous. Your background is likely to have been gained in either, an accountancy practice background, or industry alternatively, with exposure to wide ranging VAT issues and exposure to varied industry sectors. Job Offer

£40,000 - £50,000 dependent on the background of the right professional, plus benefits.
