Financial Services Tax Assistant Manager, Top 10 firm, London, up to £60k plus bonus

Your new company
This Top 10 Accountancy practice is seeking to recruit a Financial Services Tax Assistant Manager to join it's highly successful Financial Services practice. The team offer a full range of tax services to help financial services businesses to optimise their tax position, manage tax risk and meet tax compliance obligations, from UK and international tax structuring considerations to operational tax issues. The team service a wide range of clients including the following: M&A Transactions, PE Funds, Funds, FATCA/CRS/QI, Insurance, Credit Structured Finance and Banking.

Your new role
Joining as an Assistant Manager you will be given the option to choose the area of clients within FS you would like to focus on otherwise you can have a mixed portfolio of clients if you would like to gain broad exposure. As a whole the team is advisory heavy but at Assistant Manager level you will only be responsible for some compliance review. This Top 10 prides itself on allowing it's consultants to have full autonomy with their portfolio and freedom to manage their own client relationships. You will be a mentor and line manager to graduate and assistants in the team.

What you'll need to succeed
To join as an Assistant Manager on the team you must be accounts and tax qualified. You must hold corporate tax advisory experience. Prior experience in financial services is not mandatory but experience with Banking, Insurance, Investment Management, Private Equity and funds markets will be considered.
