This role will see you take responsibility for VAT with in the team. This role would suit a candidate looking to make a first move from practice, as well as those with existing in-house VAT experience that are looking for a new challenge.
Duties
* Act as the key contact for VAT within the business.
* Advise the business on all VAT transactions and new business ventures.
* Review and update existing UK VAT return process, identifying ways to improve and enhance the current process.
* Provide indirect tax support for the development and delivery of the ongoing operating structure of both the UK and wider international group.
* Oversee and control EMEA VAT compliance undertaken by regional Finance teams and local advisers.
* Liaising with external advisors on other indirect tax requirements as required.
* Participating in cross-departmental projects and involvement in the TP work stream.
About You
* FS or experience of the commodities space would be beneficial
* ACA, ACCA, ATT or CTA qualified
