An exciting and varied opportunity has arisen for a Tax Assistant or Senior to join an independent CA Firm based in Glasgow City Centre. With approximately 30 staff, covering Audit, Accounts, Tax, Payroll & Business Consultancy Services, they have a diverse client base of local businesses and individuals. With a relaxed and friendly culture, the firm offers an environment free of internal politics and bureaucracy; focusing instead on working collaboratively and providing high quality client experiences. Social events include Christmas and Summer days out, as well as office drinks on a monthly basis. Given the size, the firm provides great variety in respect to client engagement and responsibilities, and supports professional qualifications.
Your new role
Operating within a Tax Team of 4, you will be responsible for private client work; managing compliance and answering any ad-hoc queries. You will support the Tax Director with any additional work, and depending on your experience, you will review the work of 2 Trainees and support the Manager with ad-hoc training and mentoring.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of tax compliance work within a Chartered Accountancy firm, and demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills. Being ATT part- or fully-qualified will enhance your application, but is not essential.
