This business supports it's customers on ideas from initial concept through to design, construction, operation and eventual decommissioning providing technical excellence at every stage of a project lifecycle. The business employs around 1,500 professionals in more than 40 countries globally and operates from UK headquarters in London.

Your new role
A standalone tax role (flexible working and 4 day week considered) reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller you will be a critical member of the company's strategic leadership community, responsible for proactively managing and providing strategic planning advice on all tax risks and tax compliance matters associated with the group's global subsidiaries (to include direct and indirect taxes), and acting as the focal point for provision of tax advice arising from the group's global subsidiaries.

On an ongoing basis, you will be expected to contribute to the development of effective financial systems, policies and procedures and provide professional advice to the finance community and the internal management organisations as appropriate.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified tax professional holding the ACA, CTA or equivalent. You will have professional experience in a big 4 or top 10 accountancy firm or experience in an in-house commercial tax role within a global business, with hands on broad taxation experience in UK and international tax, employment tax and VAT governance, controls and compliance.
