Personal Tax Manager, London, to £75k

A personal tax manager position has arisen within this highly regarded Top 20 firm for an experienced personal tax manager to undertake an important leadership role within their thriving team.

The role is extremely wide-ranging and will encompass both managing the personal tax team as well as assisting the personal tax partner on a range of advisory projects.
Your main responsibilities will include:

*Managing the personal tax team to ensure all compliance deadlines are met
*Managing a small portfolio of private clients which will include non -domiciles, high net worth individuals and owner managed businesses
*You will be exposed to a range of challenging tax issues which will include residence and domicile issues, trusts (UK and international), capital taxes and planning for shareholders
*The individual will be exposed to range of challenging ad hoc projects
*You will be involved in a range of planning issues which include personal tax planning for property investment and development activities, non-domicile issues (including remittance planning) trusts, capital taxes, and planning for shareholders
*You will assist with managing members of staff and appraising team members

Ideally, you will be CTA or similarly qualified (although candidates qualified by experience will also considered) and possess a solid background in personal taxation covering both compliance and advisory aspects. In addition to displaying strong technical skills, you should be able to demonstrate sound leadership and interpersonal skills to assist with what is a critical role within this firm.
