Your new company
A reputable accountancy practice based in Stockport, now part of a wider group, are seeking a Corporate Tax Semi Senior to join their established corporate tax team of 6. Having been established for over 50 years, this firm is extremely reputable and offers a diverse range of services to a varied portfolio of clients.

Your new role
You will manage your own diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, taking responsibility for the corporation tax reviews and professional practice computation review. You will clear tax queries with managers and clients and deal with all types of corporation tax correspondence. You will review returns prior to submission and assist on any ad-hoc advisory work alongside the Corporation Tax Director.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this position, you will have experience in corporate tax compliance from within a reputable practice. You will have an appropriate accountancy degree and or AAT/ATT qualified, and either training or looking to train towards ACA/ACCA or CTA qualification and strong communication skills both written and verbal.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of between £23,000-£33,000 dependent on experience and 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and Christmas off. You will receive study support if desired, along with the option to work flexibly. This firm has a very social and supportive culture with plenty of scope for progression and development.
