A friendly, reputable and expanding firm is seeking a Personal Tax Consultant or Manager to join their expanding tax team in London's Belsize Park. The firm believes in a pragmatic client first approach, and has grown after 30 years to become a major player in the sectors of Healthcare, Media and Property, among others. The firm is managed by a strong array of Tax and Accounting professionals, many of whom have been with the firm since its inception.

Your new role
To look after own portfolio of private clients, supporting colleagues and the Tax Manager with compliance work and a small amount of tax advisory work as required. Primary Responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of private clients (including individuals, sole traders, partnerships and trusts), liaising with other departments and HMRC, carrying out administrative duties and updating clients regularly. Identifying planning opportunities in respect of clients affairs and training junior members of staff as required is also essential to the role.

What you'll need to succeedYou will have an intrinsic eye for detail, ensuring your work is free from error within reason, and suitable for streamlined review by the Manager. Although qualifications are not essential for this role, an ATT will be of interest. Ideally, you will be able to point to a strong academic record, whether tax related or otherwise, and be a proven problem solver.

Their standard hours are 9-5:30, but if you fancy leaving at 3pm on a Friday you can work until 6pm Monday-Thursday!
