A leading BIG 4 firm is sourcing for estabhlished Manager either from professional services or the in-house market looking to further their career in Financial Services Tax Advisory & specifically securities taxes. This ideal opportunity to step up into a Senior Manager role.
Why a career in securities tax?
All financial services businesses buy, hold or sell capital market securities and therefore need to cover the tax risks arising from security activities. This is where a bright tax mind is needed to identify & manage withholding tax, capital gains tax, transaction tax & advise on tax reporting obligations.
The firm in question is keen to source an individual who have current experience & understanding of the Financial Services market from any technical capacity whether it be Corporate Tax compliance, Operational Taxes, Tax Risk, Tax Structuring or M&A.
The person in question will be mentioned by an incredibly strong Directors group with years of FS experience (both in-house & practice) and become an SME communicating securities tax risks to clients.
Within the role you will be covering multi-jurisdictional reviews of new projects or market offerings, tax authority audits & challenges, technical input into problem areas i.e. FTT for asset managers, bench marking tax risk and minimising tax leakage.
This role has exciting technical challenges facing off to market leading FS clients (Banks, brokers dealers, custodians, asset managers, Insurers).
