Based in the Manchester office of this globally renowned professional services firm, you will be an experienced Tax Investigations Manager or Senior Manager who is ambitious, yet team focused.
You will be joining a high-quality tax team that includes experienced tax professionals, ex-HMRC inspectors and home cultivated talent.
The role in brief:
Client facing and solutions focused, managing a portfolio of tax investigation cases, including COP8 and COP9, voluntary disclosures, tax residence/domicile enquiries, scheme settlements, ADR and many other types of HMRC dispute resolution.
About you:
Tax investigations experience, including COP8 and COP9, gained within HMRC or a professional services practice
CTA qualified or qualified by experience
Client facing tax advisory experience (or liaising with tax advisers who are representing clients, if you are a HMRC candidate)
Capable of managing your own workload, staying current in your technical knowledge and reviewing the work of more junior colleagues on occasions
Willing to contribute to business development initiatives and play your part in helping to further expand the commercial success of the function
