Corporate Tax Manager

Vacancy for a motivated, knowledgeable Corporate Tax Manager to join a thriving, competitive firm in Watford.

A Top 25 firm located across the City of London and Watford, offering business advice to the SME community. The key areas of interest for the company are corporate, including real estate, media, technology, and hospitality, in addition to charities and not-for-profit organisations such as schools and membership association.

Your new role

You will be a principle member of a corporation tax specialist team with a focus on providing tax services to a wide range of clients across a variety of industry sectors. A client facing role, it will require a candidate who is able to operate in both solo working and team based environments to achieve targets and meet deadlines.

Your main areas of focus will be around restructuring, group tax planning, venture capital tax reliefs, share schemes and valuations, and corporate and property acquisitions, among others.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be expected to have the industry knowledge to identify tax efficient opportunities for clients, and the confidence to liaise with partners on implementing opportunities. You will act as a line manager for junior staff, meaning your ability to train, and professionally grow those below you is crucial.

On the technical side, a history of client portfolio management is essential, as is competency with Microsoft Office. Additionally, a CTA and solid Alpha tax experience is preferential. The successful candidate will be expected to work in the Watford office for a minimum of 3 days per week, to fulfil the expectations placed in this role.
