Corporate Tax Advisory Role - Client relationship role - mix of OMB and large corporate clients - Central Bham

The Corporate tax team in Birmingham is a strong team led by experienced leaders. Now looking to add to the team at Assistant Manager grade, this is an opportunity to build your advisory skills within a highly regarded firm.

Your new role
If successfully appointed into this position, you will manage a portfolio of corporate clients which may range from large OMBs to multinational businesses. This is a client facing role with a real focus upon managing the relationship with your allocated clients, ensuring the compliance process is running smoothly and identifying opportunities to add value. You will liaise internally with the compliance team to provide excellent levels of service and will link up with with specialists within the firm should your clients need advice on R&D, capital allowances or expat matters. There will also be opportunities to develop management skills by coaching more junior members of the team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have solid corporate tax experience within an accountancy practice - ideally with some exposure to advisory work. You will ideally possess relevant tax/accountancy qualifications (ACCA/ACA/ATT/CTA) and will be a confident communicator able to build, maintain and strengthen relationships both internally and externally.
