A Global Accountancy Firm that offer professional services including Audit & Assurance, Risk Advisory, Tax, Consulting and Financial Advisory. An exciting opportunity to enter the company at Corporate Tax Manager Level and take ownership of projects that make a significant and valuable impact on our clients.

Your new role
The role will be varied and will range from complex tax audits of listed businesses to multinational group reporting work to preparing tax accounting disclosures for private businesses. The different projects that you will be managing will ensure that you are challenged on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include:
Acting as tax specialist on audits, including reviewing client tax accounting and managing the input of other specialists to address risks and reach conclusions around uncertain tax positions;
Preparing and reviewing tax reporting provisions for clients across a range of sectors under UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP;
Proactively managing audit, client and statutory deadlines, billing requirements and delegating effectively to your team.
Ownership and development of existing UK and international relationships
Development of the technical and operational skill set of junior team members

What you'll need to succeed
Experience of working in practice in a similar function or in a relevant in-house team.
ICAEW or CTA qualifications;
Experience in preparing or reviewing reporting schedules and tax accounting disclosures under UK GAAP, US GAAP or IFRS;
Experience in statutory audit work;
Ability to integrate and work effectively within high performing teams;
Delegation and leadership skills, and an ability to be clear and concise with regards to instructing more junior teams around them;
High quality business writing and effective communication skills;
The ability to work closely with audit teams and clients, applying practical and commercial concepts to technical work;
Ability to effectively present to clients and internal teams;
Individual needs to be organised and self-motivated.
