Long standing Salford based firm seeking Mixed Tax Senior Manager | Path to partnership available | £50-60k

One of the longest standing independent accountancy firms in Manchester, looking to recruit a new mixed tax senior manager due to retirement. This firm pride themselves on not just being your average number cruncher's, but on offering sound advise and practical solutions.

Your new role
As a mixed tax senior manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of complex tax returns and reviewing the majority or returns completed by the accounts team. Your portfolio will consist mainly of personal tax clients inclusive of HNWI's, partners and directors, in addition to some corporate clients and trusts. As a tax senior manager you will be responsible for picking up tax planning and advisory work associated with your client base and establishing and maintaining close client relationships. Dependent on prior experience, you may also have an involvement in networking and bringing in new business for the firm.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role you will have experience of managing a mixed tax portfolio of clients from within a reputable practice. You will have experience in managing the compliance associated with a mixed tax portfolio, in addition offering tax planning and advisory services. Candidates that are ATT and/or CTA qualified will be looked upon favourably.

What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts, you will rewarded with a salary of between £45,000-£60,000 in addition to 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday. Part or full time candidates can be considered for this role (3-5 days per week). This firm can offer path to partnership for ambitious and expert candidates.
