This opportunity is offered by a leading professional services firm that specialises in providing audit, tax and advisory services across the world. This organisation strives for excellence and empowers its employees to realise their full potential.
As a Real Estate Tax Assistant Manager, you will predominately be the aficionado in terms of compliance related matters, however, you will not be pigeonholed and also be responsible for tax restructuring and due diligence advice. You will be joining the broader Real Estate tax team which includes 60 members of staff who work with a wide range of clients including multi-national companies. This team is separate from the Transaction Services team so your responsibilities will not be linear nor routine, you will, in fact, work closely with the TS business. This results in a steady flow of work giving you the opportunity to plan your day-to-day life. The Real Estate Deal team is a fairly new team that promises exponential growth and utilises new strategies. You will also be expected to assist in business development and proposal activity.
Ideally, you should be CTA/ACA/CA qualified, or equivalent, with strong knowledge of UK corporate tax. To qualify for this position, you do not strictly need Real Estate tax experience or M&A tax experience however it would be advantageous. You will also need exceptional communication skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary package and benefits. You will have the opportunity to agree upon agile working arrangements, allowing you to potentially decide on where, when and how you want to work. The organisation also offers secondment opportunities particularly to the U.S. The role and your portfolio is flexible and can be tailored to best suit your potential - whether it be a stable role or the fast track to Manager.
