Joining as Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager, based in the firms North Somerset offices, as a result of growth and positive expansion, the firm is looking to recruit the right tax professional here, in a varied tax role, encompassing both personal and corporate tax, compliance and significant involvement in advisory and planning projects across the range of private client, IHT, capital tax etc and corporate tax planning opportunities, for the firms OMB and corporate client base. This could cover a variety of projects across M& A related tax work and other areas. Alongside this, the individual will play a lead role in developing a quality tax service, managing the provision of compliance services and improving the delivery and driving the development of their tax department. It will require a motivated individual, looking for the challenge of driving the development of their tax function. There will be a client portfolio, along with the autonomy and potential to look to further develop the firms tax offering. You will therefore look to grow the client base, with a keen involvement in winning new client work and business development activity. The role therefore provides a very challenging, varied and career enhancing opportunity for the right individual, looking to carve and forge a career path in this Somerset, independent firm. Given the individual will be a key, higher level addition a clear progression path is on offer, mouldable around the right persons career goals and ambitions.
Profile
For this key Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager, you are likely to be qualified across any of ACA / ACCA / ATT and/or CTA. With anything up to 2 years post qualified experience, or significantly more, as a Tax Manager / Senior Manager. You will have a strong background in tax, with experience across corporate and/or personal tax. You will have experience within the accountancy practice sector and you will be self-motivated team player, with strong people management skills, excellent technical skills, confident with both staff and clients and involvement in business development. You will be keen to succeed and develop this firms tax department.
This is an excellent opportunity with potential to progress within the firm, working in a great location in the South West.
Job Offer
