Senior Tax Advisor - In House - Aberdeen

Our client is a leading Multinational business with offices in Aberdeen looking to hire a Corporate Tax advisor to join their team and support the Tax Director in achieving the tax strategy.

Par of the duties will be to work with business development, sales, commercial and finance teams to analyze and understand international projects, and advise on structuring of transactions, tax consequences, tax impact on project economics, funding, risk assessment and mitigation.

Work with business unit finance and project teams to ensure that the intended tax strategy is implemented correctly including advising on contractual arrangements with vendors and subcontractors, joint venture and consortium arrangements, reviewing variation orders and contract amendments, invoicing arrangements and pricing splits, funding and cash flow strategies, employment related matters e.g. secondments, ongoing risk management; transfer pricing strategies and documentation for projects, appointments of tax advisers and issuing instructions to external advisers, reviewing and finalization of advice, etc.

Professional qualification to UK Chartered Institute of Taxation ATII, UK Chartered Accountant, or equivalent.
