A Glasgow-based independent firm of Chartered Accountants providing a full spectrum of services, including Accounts, Audit, Tax, Payroll and Corporate Finance, is wishing to make an addition to their Tax Team at the level of Assistant Manager. With over 30 employees and a strong reputation, surpassing a century in length, this is an exceptional opportunity to join a diverse, supportive and friendly set of qualified accountancy and tax specialists, whilst working with a huge variety of clients with numerous and varying technical complexities.

Your new role
As the Assistant Tax Manager, you will manage the delivery of compliance services to largely private clients. This will involve processing, submitting and reviewing personal tax returns, ensuring deadlines are met, answering client queries, and supporting more senior members of the team with advisory work. During this time there will be thorough training and support, and the opportunity of further progression.

What you'll need to succeed
As the successful applicant, you will have a proven track record within tax, either mixed or personal, in a Chartered Accountancy. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills; demonstrating the ability to manage multiple deadlines whilst maintaining high attention to detail. You will be a motivated and dynamic individual with a particular desire to continue your career within tax. Ideally, you will be ATT qualified, however, this is not essential.
