A Top 15 accountancy practice with 9 offices in the UK and 4 overseas. This firm currently has 74 partners and 550 members of staff across all offices, having been founded in 1855. Due to a considerable rate of growth in both new clients and fee's over the last few years, this firm are looking to recruit an experienced Corporate Tax Manager into their office in Manchester.

Your new role
As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of Corporate tax clients and will be responsible for preparing disclosures and calculating tax provisions for UK GAAP and IFRS accounts, calculation of quarterly instalment payments, preparing corporation tax returns and IXBRL tagging of accounts and tax returns in preparation for online filing. You will also advise your clients on UK corporation tax matters such as; capital allowances claims, research and development tax credits, tax efficient profit extraction and taxation of intangible assets and the new Patent Box to name a few.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideally candidate will have experience of working within a corporate tax role within a reputable practice. You will have a relevant professional qualification i.e. ATT/CTA or studying towards alongside experience of using tax software (the firm uses alphatax). You will be ambitious and hardworking with excellent communication skills.

In return for your efforts you will receive a competitive salary of between £25,000-£40,000 (Dependent on experience) plus Bi- annual reviews in April and October each year to ensure salary progression. in addition, you will also receive high quality training with varied work experience and responsibility, structured development programme and excellent career progression.
