THE ROLE
Working within an extremely dynamic European and global tax team, you will be focused on core German business activities within the wider Group. Complex cross-border projects, tax risk and audits form key elements of your role but you will also be involved in a range of projects focusing on VAT strategy – including internal project implementation, country launches and the promotion of VAT awareness across various service lines. Closely supporting the M&A advisory team, you will also have significant overlap in terms of providing advice from a VAT perspective on key transactions and supply chain restructuring.
ABOUT YOU
Professionals will have approximately 12 years Indirect Tax experience within an international advisory, in-house or law firm environment. Business fluency in German and English are essential as well as a breadth of technical knowledge across planning/advisory, M&A, risk analysis, supply chain restructuring and compliance. With most in-house environments offering more limited career progression at the senior levels, you will be joining a unique and expanding tax team with significant future opportunities to move into different business areas as well as international locations.
