Vacancy for a dedicated and highly motivated Mixed Tax Manager to join a growing firm based in Hammersmith.

An independent, forward-thinking firm of Chartered Accountants, working out of multiple offices across the City of London. As a mixed tax professional you will deliver impeccable service to a wide range of clients across the dual disciplines of personal and corporate tax. The firms offers innovative and effective advice together with the provision of a full range of compliance services to service a client base of multinationals, owner-managed businesses, and high net worth individuals. The client base is an eclectic mix of different sectors of the creative industries, such as theatre, branding, sport, and photography.

* Your new role

You will be primarily responsible for managing and developing a small, dedicated tax team of both qualified and trainee employees, and oversee them as they deal with issues of personal tax, LLPs, and corporate clients respectively. Compliance will underpin the majority of your role, bringing you into contact with self-employed individuals, LLP members, OMBs, and larger entities. However, there will also be a significant advisory element, and will cover a wide and varied range of subjects including residence and domicile issues, EIS/SEIS, EMI and employee share schemes, profit extraction and IHT, among others. Furthermore, there will be some ATED reporting in edition to a more general expectation to maintain client engagement, manage billing processes such as budgets, timescales and bills.

* What you'll need to succeed

You will possess the CTA or ATT qualification or equivalent experience in addition to a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience backed up by a strong understanding of taxation software packages, as well as a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office. You will employ a self-motivated, tenacious temperament that yields excellent results, whether lone-working or working as part of a team. Underpinning all of this will be your demonstrable analytical and research skills, along with your great organisational and timekeeping talents.
