This accountancy practice has 19 directors and 3 offices in the North west, based in Manchester, Bolton and Lancaster. After a recent merger, this firm now has a presence UK wide offering services in Accountancy, payroll, Audit, Tax and business advisory. Your new role
As a Personal tax compliance manager you will be responsible for your own varied portfolio of clients made up predominantly of high net-worth individuals, sole traders, partners and directors of limited companies and some trusts. You will ultimately be responsible for the full compliance cycle and will handle any ad-hoc enquiries that may arise. You will work with your clients to review their current situation and help to minimise the amount of tax they pay, while maximising the amount they retain. You will be be able to spot any income tax planning opportunities and deal with the Inland Revenue on your clients behalf. You may also have an involvement with inheritance tax and the planning of clients estate.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role you will have experience of managing your own varied portfolio of personal tax clients from within a reputable practice and posses excellent personal tax technical knowledge. You will possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be a proactive self starter.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a salary of between £30,000-£40,000 dependent on experience and expectations in addition to 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday. You will receive an excellent opportunity with a reputable accountancy group growing organically and through acquisition.
