Private Client Tax Manager/Senior Manager - London

A highly talented Private Client Tax Manager or Senior Manager is required to join a successful Top 20 London based Private client tax team. Reporting to the Partner, the Manager/Senior Manager will coordinate and provide planning and advisory services optimising all al tax reliefs for clients across IHT, HNWI, Trusts and Estate planning.

The ideal candidate for this role will provide a consultancy planning and advisory service for a portfolio of complex clients and be involved with enquiry case work

The allocation of work includes: self-assessment tax returns for wealthy individuals, partnerships and trusts; associated tax computations including CGT calculations on securities, chattels and property transactions; and all related and complex aspects of looking after the tax affairs of a variety of high net worth private clients and non-UK domiciliaries. Specific experience of dealing with residence and domicile (including the remittance basis) is essential and experience in offshore trusts, partnerships and employment taxes would also be helpful.

You will review completed tax returns and sign off non-advisory letters and emails for junior team members.

Extensive experience within Private Client tax planning teamed with strong technical knowledge is essential. You will hold strong inter-personal skills in order to develop strong client relationships.
