Tax Manager Job, Financial Services, Edinburgh, £55,000 - £65000 + excellent benefits

Hays is proud to be partnered with a premium, global Financial Services organisation in order to recruit for an experienced Tax Manager. Providing extensive financial solutions and products, this organisation is instantly recognisable and you will be joining a growing yet experienced Finance Team made up of various areas such as Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Regulatory Reporting and Tax Operations and Execution.

Your new role
As the successful Tax Manager, you will be responsible for leading Tax compliance and reporting across EMEA entities, and will be heavily involved in implementing new technology and process improvements. Managing a team of 3 specialists, you will ensure the efficient and accurate delivery of UK and non-UK Corporate Income Tax returns.You will handle the payment of all EMEA tax liabilities, prepare USGAAP tax provisions on a monthly basis, reconcile USGAAP tax balance sheet accounts and respond to CIT queries from various sources. Further to this, you will prepare annual and quarterly statutory reporting requirements. Given the extent of development within the business as well as tax as a whole, you will also be involved in significant project work as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a proven track record within Corporate Tax accounting and compliance delivery with experience of staff and stakeholder management. This will ideally have occurred within a large, reputable firm of Chartered Accountants or within a multi-national Financial Services business, providing you significant exposure to US GAAP and IFRS. Working with numerous deadlines, you will be organised with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
