Leeds office of a large accountancy firm seeks several hires for the Private Client Team. They seek a Senior Manager who will deal with a wide range of entrepreneurs, family offices, private equity and hedge fund principals, large landed estates, high profile professional partnerships and senior executives of large listed and private businesses. This team provides tax return compliance services, advice on residence and domicile issues, transaction and reorganisation advice, optimisation of wealth from a tax perspective, and estate and succession tax advice. Their client base includes a mix of UK and non-UK domiciled individuals. With a large international network this team undertakes a high proportion of cross border tax services. Day to day this role will involve:
Build and maintain relationships with clients.
Proactive business development to win new work.
High level management of the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical / business driven approach taken.
Helping people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff.
Contribution to people initiatives, including retaining and training our team.
Role in the management of the team both in terms of strategy and operations and also through managing junior staff development and assignments.
The ideal candidate is likely to be qualified (CTA or equivalent) with experience of dealing with HNW individuals and their families. Its likely that you will have experience of residence and domicile cases. You will also have proven experience of managing more junior staff. You will have a real aptitude for dealing with private clients. IHT and funds experience an advantage. This firm offers, full time, part time or flexible working arrangements.
