VAT Manager - Growing South Wales Practice - circa £40,000

A well known South Wales Practice with solid roots in the local area and a growing client base. Modern and forward-thinking with the latest technology and accounting methods used and a supportive background to learn them against. Very focused on bringing through graduate level candidates by giving them a clear career path, they have an open and relaxed culture.
Your new role
This is a superb opportunity to effectively create your own VAT department. You will be heavily involved in bringing in new business and offering value propositions to existing clients. There is a gap in the South Wales market for an independent Practice to focus on this service and so there is huge potential to make it grow with SMEs in the area.
What you'll need to succeed
You should be either ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT qualified or have taken the HMRC route along with proven accountancy experience. Ability to show a varied and detailed understanding of all aspects of VAT is also needed as you will be the standard bearer in the company for that discipline.
You will be heavily involved with client interaction so need to be excited by Business Development and Networking.
