This world leading professional services firm are recruiting at Director level within their transfer pricing team based in London. The role offers great opportunities to work on complex and challenging projects within a team of TP specialists.
The work is diverse and incredibly interesting across transfer pricing and you will focus on all aspects of documentation planning, dispute resolution, and advance pricing agreements. The team will be responsible for all aspects of inter-company pricing arrangements between related business entities, including transfers of intellectual property, transfers of tangible goods, services and loans, and other financing transactions. As a Director, you will help clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for:

• Leading the practice by setting strategy, drive the development of new business in the market, and provide technical advice across disciplines
• Building strong networks within the firm to spot and capitalise on new opportunities
• Most of the day to day client communications
• Shaping and delivering various projects
• Managing and delivering large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing the output produced by the team
• Training, coaching, and supervising staff
• Continuously developing internal relationships and the brand

Person Requirements:

• Someone with excellent technical and interpersonal skills
• Someone who is a self-starter and can manage a variety of projects
• Good communication and relationship-building skills both with external clients and other internal tax (and non-tax) teams
• Technical expertise to devise innovative and practical solutions to client problems and to share knowledge with the rest of the team members
• Ability to plan and deliver work against tight deadlines
• Ability to take advantage of new opportunities for learning, sharing new knowledge; being intellectually agile and able to think creatively
• Ability to identify and drive forward potential follow-on work or cross-selling opportunities
