Tax Technology Manager - Birmingham - £ 68, 000 plus generous package

A world leading professional services are seeking ambitious Tax Manager to join their expanding Tax Systems and Reporting Team. You will be joining the fastest growing area of tax, which is the focus of major investment from the wider firm. The team advises their leading portfolio of clients to utilise technology to manage their Tax Risk and Governance, Making Tax Digital and Improving Efficiency. The team’s main areas of work are configuring existing systems, implementing 3rd party solutions, and when necessary developing software.

Based in the Birmingham office, you would be a Tax Technology pioneer for the firms Midlands Region. You will sit with the General Tax Practice, focusing on identifying new areas of work where systems can benefit their existing clients. As such you need to be comfortable in a relationship focused role and have the ability to work remotely with the London based delivery team.

The team is expanding rapidly, both in London and across the five regional teams, with Tax Technology predicted to become 20% of the firm’s Tax Business. This expansion means that you will benefit from fast promotion, and the budget to build your team in Birmingham. You will truly be embedded and would only need to work in London for two days per month.

You will have a passion for tax technology, gaining some exposure to systems configuration or implementation in your previous role in industry or practice. You will have completed your ACA / ACCA / CTA (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience working within any tax.
