Transactions Tax Senior Manager - Edinburgh - £90, 000 plus generous package

A leading FS M&A Tax Advisory Team are seeking a proactive Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join their main office in Edinburgh. The team works with clients of all sizes in all industries, working closely with their strong network of Transaction Tax teams around the world. In this dynamic and fast-moving environment, individuals apply their skills to a variety of transactions, from acquisitions of small family-owned concerns to high-profile, newsworthy deals.

The team has inspirational leadership, with the lead partner leading FS Business Tax Services for the EMEIA region. As a result, members of the Edinburgh team are given the option to work on cross-border projects and travel internationally. At present, the local team is over 50 people and is recruiting to enable them to respond to an expanding pipeline of work. Due to their growth, they will continue to add roles at all levels in the short and medium term, giving the opportunity for fast promotion.

Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain tax relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
• Assist in winning work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.
• Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business-driven approach taken
• Contribute to successfully extracting maximum value for the firm and clients from the tax services delivered whilst managing risk appropriately for both the client and the firm.

The successful candidate will be ACA / CTA trained (or equivalent) and can build and maintain their client relationships with minimal oversight from Senior Management. This is a fantastic opportunity for fast promotion in an exciting and expanding team.
