Senior Tax Consultant, Warwickshire

Based in one of the attractive market towns of Warwickshire, this niche boutique is looking to recruit a talented Senior Tax Consultant.

With strong technical tax and employment acumen, confident advisory and problem-solving skills, and a ‘can do’ mentality, you will be joining a successful team in a role that will give you plenty of variety in your working day.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships to generate and grow consultancy income; you will provide highly technical advice to clients including attending meetings at client premises and deal with contentious HMRC enquiries including ADR and tribunals.

Furthermore, you will assist and provide guidance to junior team members and will support business initiatives, such as attending and presenting seminars, training and marketing events.

About you:

Experienced in handling work such as IR35, status, agency legislation, CIS and umbrella companies

Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to use, interpret and review legislation and case law, especially in relation to tax and legal issues in the contractor and agency space

Experience of dealing with HMRC enquiries and a thorough knowledge of the HMRC disputes process

Confident communicator, both in person and over the phone, with good written skills

Good organisation and time-management attributes
