Corporate Tax Director / Partner, North Essex

This firm enjoys a client base the envy of their competition, coupled with a track record of delivering strong OMB tax advisory, as such this is a pivotal role complimenting their senior management team. This opportunity has arisen due to impressive organic growth and measured succession planning.

As a technical 'go to' for corporate tax matters across the firm you will interact with a numbers of partners on a regular basis whilst retaining full management of a client portfolio. This portfolio will consist of not only owner-managed but listed, domestic and potentially some international clientele. It will be your responsibility to deliver high quality, proactive tax advisory services to this diverse client base on a wide range of matters.

To be considered it is expected you will have a comprehensive understanding of UK corporation tax and ideally a good grasp of international taxation regimes as this too would be beneficial. Whilst this is corporate tax focused, a good understanding of the key tax implications of corporate transactions on employees and shareholders would again be very useful.

Due to the nature of the client base ( £40million + turnover) you can expect the following work to be a common occurrence, as such you will have a demonstrable track record in the same:

M&A Work including tax efficient structuring and due diligence
Corporate reorganisations including de-mergers and reconstructions
Property taxation, including property development by UK and overseas companies
Employee incentive arrangements including EMI, ESS, unapproved share plans and share valuations
